How can I prove my language skills?
With a high school diploma, if you have graduated from the given language, or if you attend a language school, with a certificate written by a language teacher, which is authenticated by the language school's seal, or by applying to Lingva Academica for a level assessment and with the certificate issued by them, which has a seal.
Must the application form/department recommendation/motivation letter/research plan be completed in English?
No, it can be in Hungarian, too. The form and its annexes are used for internal applications, based on which the network CEEPUS coordinator, taking into account the number of months available, selects the most suitable applicants for the scholarship.
Does submitting the form and its annexes complete the application?
No. The winners of the internal application process must upload their applications to the central application website of the CEEPUS Program within the deadline specified in the announcement.
What documents do you need to upload to the Central CEEPUS Office website besides uploading the application?
In case of Network mobilities, none. Only students applying for a freemover scholarship need to scan a Letter of Acceptance and 2 teacher recommendations with their application.
Do you need to request a teacher recommendation from the head of department for the application form?
No, but from the teacher who knows the applicant best. If for some reason you cannot obtain it, you can of course also request it from the head of department.
Can I only apply for 1 month to write a thesis?
If the monthly budget allows, you can also apply for 2 months. If you apply for 3 months or longer, you must take classes and earn credits.
If I have already had a scholarship, can I still apply?
Yes. The Erasmus scholarship is not included, but first-time applicants have priority for CEEPUS.
