In the CEEPUS freemover application type, students and Teachers with active status at any Hungarian higher education institution can submit an application for a mobility for study or teaching purposes to any accredited higher education institution in a CEEPUS member country. Current call for applications 2024/2025. autumn and spring semester

  • Freemover applications can be submitted to the following CEEPUS countries for the autumn and spring semesters of the 2024/2025 academic year: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (exceptional cases only), Czech Republic (exceptional cases only), North Macedonia, Croatia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia (students only).
  • How to submit the application: On the central CEEPUS application platform.
  • Language of the application: English.
  • Before applying and - in the case of a winning application - before leaving, the applicant is responsible for knowing the entry regulations of the given destination country and the domestic epidemiological measures in force at all times, as well as the guidelines of the sending and receiving institutions, and for coordinating the reception readiness of the receiving institution.
  • The winning applicant receives the scholarship from the receiving country, the amount of which varies from country to country. You can inquire at the national office of the receiving country regarding the evaluation of applications, scholarships, studies/education abroad, and finding a receiving institution.
  • The current amounts of the scholarships, the contact details of the national offices of the receiving countries, and other useful information can be found on the central application platform by clicking on the flags of the countries.

  • Central application submission deadline: applications can be submitted from June 1 to November 30 for both semesters. Final submission deadline: November 30, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications may vary by country.
