Pázmány Péter Catholic University has entered into a cooperation agreement with the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. Santo Tomas is the oldest Catholic university in Asia, founded 414 years ago, in 1611, by the Archbishop of Manila.
The university is maintained by the Dominicans and has more than 35,000 students. Based on the agreement, it will be possible to organize student and staff exchanges, as well as joint research, seminars, and conferences in the future.
As part of this, an online workshop on copyright was already held in November with lecturers from the Faculty of Law of PPKE JÁK and Santo Thomas.
