The Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award is a prestigious recognition for international students participating in the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.

The Scholarship programme was established by the Hungarian government with the aim of promoting Hungary’s international role in higher education and promoting the country’s academic institutions on the global stage.

The Excellence Award recognizes scholarship holders’ outstanding academic achievements, leadership skills and contributions to university life.

This year’s Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award ceremony took place in the Mirror Hall of the Festetics Palace on 05 November, 2025.

From Pázmány Péter Catholic University, the award was presented to Alina Areej, MSc student in Medical Biotechnology.
