The European Association for International Education (EAIE) is a prominent, non-profit, member-led organization dedicated to advancing the internationalization of higher education. The annual EAIE conferences provide a unique platform for networking with a wide array of higher education professionals globally, fostering partnerships, exchanging experiences and best practices, and exploring the latest industry trends.

This year's event, organized in the beautiful city of Toulouse in France, featured an extensive program, including plenary sessions, thematic workshops, spotlight sessions, and a traditional education fair, in addition to innovative new networking formats. With over 7,300 participants and more than 240 sessions and activities, the conference offered an impressive range of opportunities. The exhibition, featuring more than 200 stands, allowed institutions to showcase their initiatives and services. Participants had the challenge of selecting from a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from marketing and admissions to curriculum design, staff development, student services, alumni relations, Erasmus+ programs, and institutional partnerships.

Given the significance of the EAIE conference as a global gathering of key players in international higher education, Pázmány Péter Catholic University could not be absent. Our representatives focused on key areas such as student recruitment, student services, and institutional partnerships, with a special emphasis on strengthening existing collaborations and exploring future partnerships with other Catholic universities.

The 35th EAIE conference provided an invaluable platform for Pázmány Péter Catholic University to deepen its engagement with the global higher education community. The insights gained and connections made during this event will contribute to the University's strategic goals in fostering strong partnerships and enhancing its academic impact.
