The focus of the meeting was the development of polymer-based smart wound dressings and bandages. During the three professional days, participants presented 19 lectures and 15 posters. Researchers from Pázmány ITK contributed two presentations and one poster, which were received with great interest by the audience.

In addition to the scientific program, participants had the opportunity to visit the highly modern simulation center of the Medical University, as well as the well-equipped instrumentation center of the Technical University. The event was also attended by the leadership of local universities, including rectors and deans, and was generously supported by five local companies.

The participants decided to continue the project and also began developing Erasmus+ mobility cooperation and joint doctoral programs between the universities. The next project meeting will take place in Bratislava in February 2027 and will be organized and hosted by MatTek-Sartorius.
