The members of the delegation represented the university from various areas: the travelling group was comprised of representatives from the Central Office for Foreign Affairs, the Communications Department, the Dean's Office and PR team of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (BTK), and the Financial Directorate of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics (ITK).

The staff visit was built upon the long-standing and excellent academic cooperation between PPKE’s Faculty of Law and Political Sciences (JÁK) and Strathmore University.

As part of a diverse and intensive professional agenda, discussions took place with representatives of key organizational units and areas, such as the Strathmore Law School (SLS), Legal Clinic, Student Affairs, Financial Aid, Communications and PR, Strategic Partnerships and Development, as well as Business and Finance. The professional sessions were framed by informal discussions and cultural activities organized by Strathmore University to help introduce the local culture and environment.

As part of their stay in Kenya, the delegation also visited the Embassy of Hungary in Nairobi. During the diplomatic meeting, they received valuable recommendations and insights regarding African Catholic universities operating in the region, student recruitment fairs, and relevant recruitment agencies, which could open up new perspectives for the university’s internationalization efforts.

A major outcome of the visit is that meeting at the administrative level provided an excellent opportunity to learn about and understand each other’s operational processes. Building on the successful model of the Faculty of Law, new cooperation opportunities have now opened up for both the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (BTK) and the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics (ITK). The visit thus not only further deepened existing ties, but also reinforced the commitment to continuing fruitful joint work between the two universities in the future.
