Hello everyone, I am Ali Ali from Syria, 28 years old, and a Junior Ph.D. student, concentrating on archaeology. It is my great pleasure to be a student at Pázmány Peter Catholic university, because the university has gifted me the opportunity to explore my interests and has offered me the best community I could imagine. The supportive environment here has allowed me to change my way of thinking and generate new ideas about my future.
On campus, I am a mentor guiding and advising students, and I am excited to encourage everyone to join the mentorship program. I have participated in many excavations in Syria and am a member of a non-profit association called friend of museums and archeological sites, which provides various heritage services and promotes community awareness.
Recently I became an active member of the Hungarian university team for excavation and cultural activities. Outside of the classroom, you can most definitely find me involved in excavation and archaeological projects.
People who are reading my words now, I speak from experience when I recommend you to apply to Pázmány university. Don’t hesitate, the future is here. Should you have any question about the scholarship, life in Hungary, and scientific questions regarding archaeology, please feel free to contact me.
