Dr. Bence Tamássy, head of the Central Office for Foreign Affairs at PPKE, and Valéria Kabak-Guba, institutional Erasmus+ coordinator, hosted colleagues from the Law School at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv who are visiting our university as part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program.

Students of the Institute of International and Political Studies took part in a study trip to the Holy See. The aim of the four-day professional programme was to introduce students to the functioning of the institutions of the Holy See and to the distinctive perspectives of religious diplomacy. The highlight of the trip was the ‘meeting’ with the Holy Father.

The delegation of Pázmány Péter Catholic University recently visited Kazakhstan, where they participated in a series of university visits organized by the Begin Group. The aim of the program was to establish new international partnerships and to present the university’s academic offerings to local students.

A delegation from Pázmány Péter Catholic University recently visited Belfast, where they visited our Catholic partner institution, St. Mary’s University College, as part of the growing international cooperation between the two institutions.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE BTK) in Budapest hosted a conference titled “At the Frontier of Human and Machine: Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and New Regulatory Standards.” The conference, held on March 18,  2026 served as the launch event for an international, multidisciplinary research project.
