The course is given to international students. The calculus preparatory course provides an opportunity to refresh what they learned in mathematical analysis before. The aim is to repeat some fundamental concepts and to mobilize computational skills in differential and integral calculus, elementary differential equations, and series expansions. The topic includes sketching graphs and integration of one- and two-variable functions, handling numerical Taylor, and Fourier series, solving first-order linear and second-order constant coefficient linear ordinary differential equations - all of them absolutely necessary in a variety of engineering subjects.
