Hungarian As a Foreign Language Club

2022.10.27.

On 21 October 2022, the first Hungarian as a Foreign Language Club (MID Club) was held in the autumn semester of the 2022-23 academic year at BME building "Z" in room 518, which focused on Hungarian autumn customs and the Hungarian national holiday, commemorating the Revolution of 23 October 1956.

The MID teachers [Henriett Papp and Dóra Magyarfalvi] evoked the atmosphere of the harvest festivals and taught the folk song "Érik a szőlő" (The grapes ripening). An interactive Kahoot quiz, a '56 flag with a hole in the middle puzzle game and a memory game with colors - on the occasion of the colors of the Hungarian flag - enriched the programme.MID club members also made mini Hungarian flags to place at the 1956 memorial.

The teachers also treated the students to lots of Hungarian delicacies.

The coconut balls were a great success again this year.
