The European University Association (EUA) is the representative organization of universities and national rectors' conferences in 47 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation. Thanks to its interaction with a range of other European and international organizations EUA ensures that the independent voice of European universities is heard, wherever decisions are being taken that will impact on their activities.

With 850 members across 47 countries, EUA is the largest and most comprehensive organization representing universities in Europe. 17 million students are enrolled at EUA member universities. As the voice of Europe's universities EUA supports and takes forward the interests of individual institutions and the higher education sector as a whole.

As of 2017 May PPCU has been accepted as a full individual member of the European University Association. As a step towards our goals of international recognition and mutually beneficial partnership with outstanding European institutions, we take pride in our acceptance and would like to express our gratitude to the EUA Council for the respective approval and the Hungarian Rector's Conference for the recommendation.
