Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Semmelweis University, the Bionic Innovation Center and the Hungarian Experimental and Clinical Pharmacy Company has jointly cooperated on the first international medical bionics, chemistry and medicine conference in Budapest, between 17th and 20th of November, 2016. The summary of state-of-art medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and bionic research consisted three related components, namely the conclusion of the PhD symposium titled „From Medicine to Bionics”, the International Medical Laboratory and Diagnostic Conference and the Meeting of the Paul Ehrlich Euro-PhD Network. Within the collaboration of PPCU and SU, Dr. MÁTYUS Péter DSc., Dr. RÁCZ Károly and Dr. SZUROMI Szabolcs DSc. directed the conference, as the scientifically noted symposiums presented the results of the latest research in the field of medicine, bionics and pharmaceutical chemistry, with particular emphasis on the related impact on development of medical devices, integrated with the issue of applicability within clinical and patient care. During the opening session of bionics symposium, Dr. SZUROMI Szabolcs has given an overview of the global significance of the current scientific bionic breakthrough. The latter lectures of the first day have introduced the subfield development through the works of various research centers and universities from Singapore, USA and Hungary. The second part of the conference, dedicated to the field of medical laboratory and diagnostics was commenced by Dr. SZUROMI Szabolcs with a summary of the new technologies, and their incorporation into the development and clinical application of CT scan, MR and ultrasound devices, stressing the importance of accurate analysis of cancerous diseases resulting in a more effective treatment. As a continuation European scholars have introduced their achievements in detail in the pursuit of precise exploration of diseases.
