The President of PPCU, Dr. SZUROMI Szabolcs DSc., has examined further cooperation possibilities with the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA) and with Dr. Peter KILPATRICK, Dean of UND College of Engineering, such as the preparation of double PhD degree in Engineering, or the further partnership opportunities with the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering as well as between the Hungarian Center for Bionics Innovation (BIK) and the UND College of Engineering between 20th and 24th of April. A round table discussion was arranged to examine mutual academical research topics with the experts of UND, namely Glen NIEBUR, Ryan ROEDER, Pinar ZORLUTUNA, Joel BOERCKEL, Jim SCHMIEDELER. During his stay our President has also met with Prof. Chia CHANG, Bayer Professor of Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Prof. James MCADAMS, Director of the Nanovic Institute.
